Villa Tugendhat

The extraordinary Villa Tugendhat is one of the world’s iconic buildings. It is the work of the German-American architect Ludwig Miese van der Rohe and is especially important because it is the only example still standing of his pre-war work. The reconstructed and restored Villa is exceptional for its functionalist architecture, layout, technological equipment, and perfection of every exterior and interior detail, including furniture.
