100 years of independence is a reason for celebration!
On Saturday 26 May the Brno Exhibition Centre (BEC) will turn into a massive time machine, allowing visitors to go back in time… 100 years. BEC will host, until Sunday, 17 June, the biggest celebration of the 100th anniversary of independence of Czechoslovakia in the Czech Republic and possibly in the entire former Habsburg Monarchy.
Take a journey to the past: enjoy a First Republic party, meet interesting personalities and find out more about the best works the country has to offer in terms of design, architecture and books. Try sports in their historical and present-day form and have your picture taken by the best Czech photographers. Enjoy a unique celebration of dance and take a look at an original archive of memories made of your old family photos. And if you happen to be single, find your perfect match.
